Dr. Nirav Mehta is a distinguished Neurosurgeon from Mumbai city of Maharashtra, specialising in Brain and Spine Surgery.

 

A Consultant Neurosurgeon at the well known Bombay Hospital Institute Of Medical Sciences since February 2010, he accomplished his MBBS, DNB (Surgery) and MS (Surgery) from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College (BJMC), Pune. Dr. Mehta further pursued his Advanced Post Graduate Academic Degree (M.Ch) in Neurosurgery from Bombay Hospital in 2008. He was bestowed with various awards and scholarships for his commendable academic excellence. He stood 5th in MBBS and 1st in MS (Surgery) in Pune University. He was an equally bright student during his schooling and bagged many prizes for his outstanding performance in SSC Board examination.

 

Dr. Mehta gained a lot of expertise and experience by working for some of the leading Hospitals in Mumbai. He had an opportunity to serve as Special Assistant to Dr. S N Bhagwati at the Bombay Hospital Institute Of Medical Sciences from September 2008 to February 2010. He worked at Sassoon General Hospital and Apollo Jehangir Hospital in Pune before enrolling for M.Ch. Neurosurgery residency program at Bombay Hospital Institute Of Medical Sciences between August 2005 to July 2008.
